Frequently Asked Questions — PVC Flooring Tiles
What is PVC puzzle flooring?
PVC puzzle flooring is a type of click-fit vinyl floor tile where each tile interlocks with the next using a puzzle-edge system — no adhesive, no grout and no specialist tools required. The tiles can be laid directly over most existing floors and removed without damaging the subfloor, making them ideal for retail refits and temporary commercial spaces.
Is PVC flooring suitable for retail shops and commercial use?
Yes. All Maxshelf PVC floor tiles are rated for heavy commercial use — including trolley traffic, heavy footfall and daily cleaning. The water-resistant, scratch-resistant surface handles the demands of grocery retail, convenience stores, vape shops and office environments. The puzzle click system means installation can be completed without closing the shop.
Can PVC flooring tiles be laid over existing floors?
Yes. Our PVC click flooring tiles can be laid directly over concrete, screed or existing vinyl floors — provided the subfloor is flat, dry and clean. No adhesive or grout is needed. This makes them one of the fastest and least disruptive flooring solutions for commercial refits and live retail environments.
How much do PVC floor tiles cost?
Maxshelf PVC flooring tiles start from £37.43 per sqm for the VMAX Click Puzzle range. All tiles are priced per sqm — simply enter the number of sqm you need as your quantity. No box calculations required. The Carbon Maxi Fast Track premium range starts from £50.00 per sqm.
What size are your PVC flooring tiles?
Our VMAX Click Puzzle PVC floor tiles are 630×630mm per tile. The Carbon Maxi Fast Track range is 635×635mm. Both formats use a click or fast-track installation system and are compatible with standard commercial subfloors.
