Choosing a Flower Display for Your Shop
Three things usually decide which stand is right: how many stems you turn over in a day, how much floor or pavement you can give up, and how often the display needs to move.
Bucket count sets your capacity. An eight or nine bucket stand suits a florist counter or a flower corner in a convenience store, where four or five varieties are enough. Twelve bucket towers are built for higher turnover — a full florist shop front, a supermarket floral aisle, or a market pitch where breadth of choice is the selling point.
Stability deserves more attention than it usually gets. A filled bucket carries a considerable amount of water, and a tall display loaded from the top can become unbalanced quickly. A wide base, a low centre of gravity and a steel frame matter far more than the finish. Where a display has to come in at night, lockable castors let you wheel the whole unit through the door without lifting a single bucket.

- Wire mesh baskets on solid pine stools — low display pieces in two heights, useful for grouping single-stem buckets or wrapped bouquets beside a till point.
Galvanised Flower Buckets and Slatwall Rings
Galvanised flower buckets are the working part of any florist display. Ours are pressed steel with a galvanised finish that resists the constant wet that ruins painted buckets, and wire handles that make changing water a one-handed job. The H325mm bucket is the standard size across our stands and towers.
Sets of four buckets supplied with slatwall rings turn an existing slatwall panel into a flower wall, which is often the cheapest way to add capacity when floor space has run out. Replacement bucket rings for the 3-tier tilting stand are available separately, so a damaged ring never means replacing the whole display.

Indoor, Pavement and Market Display
Most florists run two displays: a permanent indoor arrangement and a pavement display that comes out each morning. Stands on lockable castors move between the two without unloading, and the flat pack step displays can be broken down for seasonal storage. The four-wheel market carriage carts are designed for outdoor use and handle uneven paving better than a static frame, which makes them a common choice for market stalls, farm shops and garden centres.
Where a display stays outside for long periods, the galvanised finish on our buckets and steel frames is the practical consideration — it is the part of the display that meets water every single day.
