An illuminated back panel shelving unit is a complete retail shelving bay with a built-in LED panel that backlights the shelving area from behind. Unlike a standalone back panel, the LED is integrated into the unit structure — creating a ready-to-use lit display without separate installation. It is widely used in vape shops, convenience stores, supermarkets and off-licences to highlight featured products and create high-impact display zones.
The unit is available in four widths, each with a corresponding LED lumen output: 665mm (12,000 lm), 800mm (16,000 lm), 1000mm (21,000 lm) and 1250mm (26,000 lm). All widths output 6500K cool white light and have a fixed panel height of 1200mm and depth of 15mm.
The illuminated back panel unit is a complete shelving unit with the LED panel built in — you receive a full bay ready to configure with shelves and accessories. The standalone LED back panel is the panel only, designed to be retrofitted into an existing gondola or wall bay.
